How does force feedback work?

A Force feedback steering wheel contains several electric motors inside. These motors create resistance in accordance to in game telemetry. The intensity of resistance changes as you turn the wheel, or with conditions such as a traction loss, grass, rubble or corner kerbs.. For example, if you drive the truck off the road onto rougher terain, the electric motors will create a sudden resistance with added vibrations. Getting the lorry back onto the road, you will have to fight against the wheel and turn it in the opposite direction.
